The 41st CVIAQ Annual General Meeting was held in the training room of the CVIAQ office, Unit 2/115 Bluestone Circuit, Seventeen Mile Rocks on Wednesday 26th October 2011.  Twenty members, along with CVIAQ staff attended the AGM.

Directors Mr Greg Allison (Drake Trailers) and Mr Derek Marriott (Cummins South Pacific) were required to retire by rotation but were eligible for re-nomination. Mr Allison chose not to re-nominate due to work commitments and has now officially retired from the Board. Mr Marriott re-nominated and was re-elected unopposed. Mr John Edwards (Hastings Deering) who filled a casual vacancy on the Board during the year nominated for a permanent position and was elected. Mr Cameron McFadyen (South East Queensland Tilt Tray) also nominated for a Board directorship and was elected unopposed.

Mr Bob Martin (Jost Australia Pty Ltd) was re-elected as the CVIAQ President with Mr Chris Musch (Isuzu Australia Limited) re-elected as CVIAQ Vice President. Mr Martin thanked the members attending the meeting for their show of support in re-electing him President.
