Eight companies were recognised with show awards at the official opening of the 2007 Queensland Truck and Machinery Show last night.
Mr. Steve Ghost, Director of the Trade and Technical Skills Institute – SkillsTech Australia, officially opened the four day show and presented awards to the winners.
Mr Brett Wright, CEO of the Commercial Vehicle Industry Association (CVIAQ) and organiser of the show, praised the exhibitors for putting on the best show ever.
“The show is a huge undertaking and construction of the exhibits is a major task spanning 5 days and involves thousands of contractors and staff to bring it all together,” said Wright.
Mr Wright said that the judges commended the industry on a truly world class display at this year’s show.
