| 18/10/06 2006 CVIAQ Annual General Meeting | |
The 2006 Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday October 18th at CVIAQ House. The Meeting marked the retirement of board member Mr Mike Hancock of Scully Trucks. Mike, a Board member since the year 2000, was the Board Chairman from 2003 -2005 and the Board Vice Chairman from 2002-2003. The meeting saw Mrs Sharon O’Phee re-elected to the position of President with Mr John Grossman accepting the Vice President’s role. Mrs Sharon O’Phee and Mr Ray Smithers were due by rotation to stand for re-election. Mr Smithers was also returned to his position. Mr Derek Marriott, having been appointed to fill a casual vacancy in 2005 was elected as a member of the Board. Mr Chris Musch was also elected to fill a vacant position on the Board.
