Automotive Mechanical
 

Heavy vehicle mechanics have the opportunity to work on some of the largest and most expensive road transport vehicles ever manufactured. Heavy vehicle mechanics primarily overhaul, service and repair the mechanical parts of vehicles such as engines, transmissions, brakes and suspension systems.

 
Training Qualifications available:
   
Certificate 111 Automotive Mechanical – Heavy Vehicle Road Transport
   
Certificate 111 Automotive Mechanical Technology
   
Certificate 111 Automotive Specialist
   
Certificate 111 Automotive Mechanic – Diesel Fitter
   
   
 
Automotive Manufacturing
 

There are huge opportunities available in automotive manufacturing. In this role you will learn to:

   
Read & interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
   
Perform welding, cutting and fabricating tasks
   
Assemble & install hydraulic, pneumatic and braking systems
   
Make modifications and repair
   
Modify chassis
